Little Moments of Love

by Catana Chetwynd

Soppy meets Sarah’s Scribbles in this sweet collection of comics about the simple, precious, silly, everyday moments that make up a relationship.

What began as stray doodles on scraps of paper became an internet sensation when Catana Chetwynd’s boyfriend shared her drawings online. Now, Catana Comics touches millions of readers with its sweet, relatable humor. Little Moments of Love collects just that – the little moments that are the best parts of being with the person you love.

I received a copy of Little Moments of Love from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Any fan of Catana’s Comics will understandable be a fan of this book. What is that, you ask? It’s a webcomic series by Catana Chetwynd, and more often than not it focuses on a young woman (herself) and her adorable relationship with her boyfriend.
I’m sure the title of this graphic novel gives it away, but Little Moments of Love is a collection of the sweetest and cutest moments of our happy little digital couple. There will be humor thrown in of course (Catana is constantly teasing herself for the obsessive way she loves her boyfriend), but there will also be some sappy moments (in a good way, I promise).
I follow Catana’s comics pretty consistently, so most of these comics I’ve seen before. But there were a few new ones (for me), which is always a fun find. I love reading her comic compilations; I feel like by reading them I’m insuring that I haven’t missed a single one of her delightful comics.
I think everybody could read this book and point out a favorite comic of theirs in it. My personal favorite is the one titled ‘Signs your girlfriend is actually a cat’ – though I’m going to maintain that this in no way shape or form fits my temperament what-so-ever (not that anyone will believe me).
Even if you follow Catana’s comics online, I’d strongly urge you to pick up a copy of this when it comes out. It’d be a great addition to your collection (or a really cute gift), and as a bonus you’d be supporting an artist you like. What could possibly be better than that?
