I can't get over how perfect this ending was. I'm beyond happy with it. It was a perfect tie up while still leaving a few loose ends. I loved that this book was all one big battle. There was so much action I could hardly put the book down. When I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about what would happen next. I'm glad that there's more books about this world because it's such a good world that I want to be a part of it. Minus the whole getting killed by monsters thing of course. It's one of those books where you think about it even when it's all over. It stays with you forever. That's the quality that makes for a fantastic book.

The characters were super awesome in this book. Percy was the brave leader but he didn't save the day by himself. What I love especially is that there was more than one hero that saved Olympus. Even though Percy is the main character it wasn't all about him. I loved that. Everyone else played their part too. Grover and Annabeth were really important and everyone else joined in the battle. The Gods admitted that they needed the help of the heroes and accepted that they weren't all powerful. I love getting to see how the Gods behave and you see a lot of that in this book.

If you are a fantasy fan, I'd recommend this book because it's going to be a classic.
