Tassie the main female character was stranded in Khail which is located in the Middle East. While trying to deal with the issues of finding a hotel to stay she encountered a handsome stranger. Unbeknownst to her this stranger, who is an Arab prince named Najid, was instrumental in her securing a suite in one of the most expensive hotels in the area. During her time in Khail a relationship developed between Tassie and Najid. They grew very close, however that this relationship was not without it's problems. It was difficult for Tassie to deal with a culture that placed restrictions on how a woman should conduct herself.
I loved that Tassie was able to eventually look past these restrictions and was able to come to terms with the differences in culture.
This was an easy read. The story was very descriptive and the locations were easy to visualize.
This is my first time reading Katheryn Lane's work and it will definitely not be my last.
