Eve took a chance in quitting the family business and opening the cafe she always wanted. She gets an opportunity to bid for a major chef's book release party, but then little disasters start to plague her shop. In the meantime, her heart has been captured by Treat, whose mother happens to be creating said little disasters. Treat must do something to get out from between the drama involving these two women while still preserving his relationship with both.
Things to love The characters. Eve is strong and confident, fun and flirty, yet serious and focused. Treat is swoon worthy. Mom, well, she is kind of a psycho, but Grant, he is a sweetheart. The story has just the right amount of drama and conflict, without getting too soapy and the romance is cranked very high.
