Wild and Free brought everything - mostly the action - to a pinnacle. And wow, I had no idea Ashley could write action scenes like here! Lilah was my favorite character of the whole series - that's one strong female character! She was also not judgmental, she let every person she met have a chance, and then made a decision about them based on what she knew. Not on what she thought she knew.
The romance between Abel and Lilah was scorching hot, and also the one where I felt was the most relatable of all the couples in the series.
Another thing I enjoyed about Wild and Free was that many characters from prior books showed up, and they all had upped the ante on their fighting skills, and their other skills.
