It still cracks me up that both Trixie and King Athon have to fight their natural repulsion to each other. It's so funny because it goes against what I thought I wanted in my romance reads. What Trixie finds repulsive, makes me shudder and shake in delight. What King Athon is repulsed by, is what I thought all men wanted...a flexible, petite and athletic woman.
In this instalment, their quest to find the next artifact is right at the end and over pretty quickly. I was a little disappointed, to be honest. I did like that we get more of Trixie and Athon but that also came with its own ups and downs. For the first time in this series, King Athon brought a tear to my eye. Bloody, bloody womble head (my most scathing insult), I was devastated for Trixie when he came out with his 'fix' for their problem.
I hate having to wait for more but I will definitely be back. I need to know how it will all play out.
