Brightest Kind of Darkness (Brightest Kind of Darkness, #1)

by P T Michelle and Patrice Michelle

A girl who dreams her next day. A guy who can't escape the demons of his past. Together they take on ultimate evil to save their world.

Nara Collins is an average girl with one exception; every night she dreams the events of the following day. Due to an incident in her past, Nara avoids using her special gift to change fate...until she dreams a future she can't ignore.

After Nara prevents a bombing at Blue Ridge High, her ability to see the future starts to fade, while people at school are suddenly being injured at an unusually high rate.

Grappling with her diminishing powers and the need to prevent another disaster, Nara meets Ethan Harris, a mysterious loner who seems to understand her better than anyone. Ethan and Nara forge an irresistible connection, but as their relationship heats up, so do her questions about his dark past.

I read [b:Before I Fall|6482837|Before I Fall|Lauren Oliver|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1361044695s/6482837.jpg|6674135] last year and I adored it. So when I read that the main character, Nara dreams of her day before it happens - I couldn't resist picking it up. And it didn't disappoint. Nara and Ethan are to die for. The romance is heart stoppingly perfect. The plot is a little odd - I can't quite figure out where it's going in terms of the supernatural. Kind of reminds me of [b:The Soul Summoner|34888803|The Soul Summoner (The Soul Summoner, #1)|Elicia Hyder|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1492615767s/34888803.jpg|47356896]. But the writing is enjoyable and Nara and Ethan make up for whatever flaws this has.
