by Libba Bray

After a supernatural showdown with a serial killer, Evie O'Neill has outed herself as a Diviner. Now that the world knows of her ability to 'read' objects, and therefore, read the past, she has become a media darling, earning the title, 'America's Sweetheart Seer'. But not everyone is so accepting of the Diviners' abilities . . .

Meanwhile, mysterious deaths have been turning up in the city, victims of an unknown sleeping sickness. Can the Diviners descend into the dreamworld and catch a killer?

Maybe more like 3.5. I liked the story and the narration was awesome but it was just so long. I would go back and forth between enjoying it and wishing I was just done with it already. This audiobook is over 20 hours long, so it takes a while to get through. Maybe some of my impatience came from the fact that I saw some of the twists coming from the very beginning so it was hard to listen to the characters try to figure this thing out when I thought it was so obvious. Other than that I really enjoyed the whole dream walking and sleeping sickness part of the story.
