Shameless by M Malone, Nana Malone

Shameless (The Shameless Trilogy, #1)

by M. Malone and Nana Malone

I only had one job.

Take care of my best friend's baby sister.

It was the last thing I promised him, and I always keep my promises.

Lucia DeMarco has other plans. For one, she hates me. Doesn't trust me. How can I protect a girl who can't trust me? For another, she's digging into my past. And if she discovers what I've been hiding, I'll lose any chance.

I can't let that happen. Because she's all I see at night when I close my eyes. She's all I think about all day.

I just found out Lucia's going on a date.

So I'm making another promise--he's not gonna get the girl.

This cover is OK. A little generic in my opinion but I can picture the model as Noah. It's got good composition and unique title work as well.

This review is going to be a little short because I am moving onto book two. I enjoyed this one. The author has an easy writing style that flowed well and kept me turning the pages. The plot was interesting and quite amusing at times. Both characters were very likable although the whole push/pull thing Noah had going on frustrated me. There were also an excellent array of secondary characters that have peeked my interest.

All in all a very enjoyable read. On to book two.
