Cocktails and Books received this book for free from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect our opinion of the book or the content of our review. It's been a while since I read a Prescott Lane book and I'm so glad I picked this book to get back into her list of books.

Childhood friends, stalwart supporter and unrequited love drew me in, but this incredible story proves how a spark of an idea or even a carefully placed word can change the course of someone's life.

Garrett and Devlyn's romance isn't an easy one.  They don't fall into their romance and know "this is it."  They have a history, one that hasn't always been kind to either of them, that they need to fight in order to get their HEA.  But I loved how once Garrett's dating life (or lack thereof) is turned upside down he realizes that what he's truly wanted all his life has been right in front of him.  He doesn't always say or do the right thing and he often falls back into old habits when it comes to Devlyn, but by the end of the book he figures out exactly who he wants and needs in his life.

This was a great book that I devoured in just about one sitting.  It has everything that I love about romance books:  angst, humor and plenty of smexy times.  This is definitely a book to pick up.
