You know I thought when I picked up the sequel (moments after finishing the first one) that it wouldn't be able to hold up to the first book. Boy was I wrong! I absolutely loved this book, maybe even more than book one! While I see that the story has a beautiful ending, I dearly hope that we can see Shane and Rafa again. I loved the adventure, the thrill, the angst, the romance. You can see where Rafa grows as a man and where Shane learns to adapt as a lover. Truly a magnificent read.
