Quinn and Tate were high school sweethearts (kinda of) who lost touch once Tate left for college.  While Quinn's heart was broken, she never got over Tate.  So fast forward to today and Quinn suddenly has to come face to face with the man who still owns her heart.

Quinn doesn't make things easy for Tate.  She is already a tough woman who doesn't let many close, but she definitely makes things hard for Tate.

My only problem with the book was Quinn.  She was such a force of nature in LOST RIDER, but in this book she almost turned into someone I didn't really like.  I could understand why she was cold and closed off, but for a woman who was desperate for someone to prove she was worthy of being loved I wanted her to be more accepting of what Tate offered sooner.
