Rock star romances are not my norm, but they are always fun for a change of pace, and Wanderlust definitely delivered on the "sex, love, and rock and roll" promise.

Both Lex and Aubrey were carrying around some serious baggage, which left them slightly wounded. The scars gave them some depth, and sort of explained some of their behaviors. I thought the two had great chemistry, and Loren put them in some really fun situations. She also let them unload on each other, which is when we could really see this going from fling to something more. Getting those peeks into their hearts made me more invested in Lex and Aubrey and also made me root for them to make it as a couple.

We did get to spend quite a bit of time with the band. There were some concert scenes, and interactions with groupies, as well as writing and recording sessions, which gave us some insight into the problems Lex was dealing with. I liked getting to know the band members, and would be receptive to getting to know them better via their own books (hint, hint).

One of my favorite parts was the epilogue, because Loren gave us SUCH a good epilogue. It was a time jump, that let me know how things turned out for the band and our couple, as well as giving us an inkling as to what the future held for them. It really punctuated what I loved as these two as a couple, and I was left in quite an elated state from the ending.
