Do you believe in soul mates?

Nora is the daughter of privilege. She appears "perfect", but is slowly becoming unhinged due to her past. Leo is a slightly older businessman, who fights his feelings for Nora. Will it or won't it be a love match?

This is a love story - the love story between Nora and Leo, but this is also a story of rebirth - Nora coming to terms with her past and taking back control of her life. I enjoyed "Very Bad Things". I found Nora to be a rather interesting and complex character. She was like a phoenix rising from the ashes. She starting out as a walking disaster, but she eventually seized control of her life, made some really bold choices, burned some bridges and was able to find her happiness. There are also a fine cast of supporting characters (Sebastian, Mila, Teddy). And Leo, he was broken too and I thought I was going to slap him at times, but with each chapter we came to understand him a little more.

This book has dark moments, but overall, it's a story of hope and healing and love.
