This was an intense issue. I’m not going to lie to you, when I first saw Creel (the Absorbing Man) make an appearance I sort of rolled my eyes…but they did a fantastic job with fitting his character into the plot! It was amazing! Certainly my favorite issue out of the last few (okay…who am I kidding, I’ve loved them all).
The inevitably fight scene was amazing, and did not go even remotely how I expected it to. I love that they’re still finding ways to surprise us. This is what I love about storytelling in comics – when they really take risks with characters.
