I think I'm going to have to break up with the sibling's best friend trope, I'm finding them to be nearly all the same. And this wasn't a new adult read, so naturally the brother and hero always seems to have it out. I did enjoy Playing for Keeps, but this one stuck in that I won't be gravitating towards this trope anymore.
It has been a while since I've read a book by Kendall Ryan and I'll say that I've missed reading her books. I'm quite the fan of hers, this wasn't written horribly or anything, it's just not my kind of trope. However, I'm pretty excited to read the other books in the series, hopefully the audio because I loved the narrators for this one!
