It is always so refreshing reading books by Janice Thompson. I know I can expect her books to be well written, to have good emotion, to be light-hearted and interesting. Every Bride Needs a Groom was not a disappointment.

Katie was just plain wonderful, everything she should have been as a small-town girl. Excited about her boyfriend and hoping for a proposal. And then to have her hopes dashed when he instead announces a move away from her small town.

Brady is marvelous as well. Such a great man of God who loves his mother and is willing to step in and run her bridal shop while she chases after her dreams in Paris for a year. And the way he treats Katie and deals with what appear to be strange reactions and behavior.

This was a great book which stands by itself, yet I know the story will continue in the next book of the series, which I'm looking forward to reading.
