What I thought about the Narrator:
This was narrated by the author of the book, and oh my gosh was she awesome! Not only did she have a good variety of voices for all the characters (and there were quite a few), but she was hilarious too! Especially when doing the voices of some of the ditzy girls, Tiara for instance!

The footnotes added into the narration as the book went on was a big help too since they explained what the characters were talking about, which was good especially since quite a few Corporation products were made up for this. There’s even a fin facts page for the girls, so we get to know them better, and the commercials that were in this to separate the book were so funny!

What I thought about the Story:
This was my first venture into an audiobook, as recommended to me by a fellow blogger Amanda. I wasn’t sure what I would think of it, and whether I’d be able to keep my attention on it and not zone out while listening. Thanks to the author’s awesome narrating and interesting story though, I ended up really liking this!

It switched perspective through all the beauty pageant girls, which was probably one of the best things of this. For instance, you think they’re all girls just out there to look pretty and win, but as it goes on, and they find out more about themselves you start to see what events in their past led them to be where they are. Most of these stories make you feel sorry for the girls, but eventually happy because of the ways they grow while being stranded on the island together.

I really liked listening to this book. Not only because the author brought it to life, but because it was so funny and it was something I wouldn't have normally read on my own. I highly recommend that you try out the audio for this!
