God, I want a cupcake!! So much so that my husband almost talked me into going downtown Manhattan to the gourmet cupcake factory, but I think I am going to look up some recipes.

As far as the story itself, I had several issues with this story and the writing. Some things were very irritating like "Vamptown" (really? Couldn't have tried a little harder), and having one vampire explain to the boss where they are getting their blood (umm, he works here right?), an inner monologue is one thing and there were many explanations which just popped up conveniently.

I like my paranormal series, but not so cliched. The vampire stuff stopped just short of capes, coffins and bats and the sex appeal between the main characters was working one minute and then forced down your throat the next.

I think I'll pass on the rest of the series.
