It was free. I've read Angela Pepper before and it was fine. Nothing special. This book though was kind of terrible. It started out decent if not absurdly weird but it was all downhill from there. The main character was a nutter - it was like she was too hyped to make sense. There was a lot of telling of what her character was like instead of showing and I just generally didn't like her. The romance made no sense. He was hot. That was basically it. She has one conversation and all of a sudden they're in some serious relationship type shit in a police station. This whole book was just so far from realistic - there was no depth to the characters or the plot. I think Stormy could have been a really interesting and entertaining character but she fell short.

I'm rating two stars because I generally don't like giving one if it's not quite one - it's more a 1.5 stars.
