The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires in the third novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling Crossfire series.
From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside—so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.
No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession...
This book is absolutely amazing....if you're setting fire to it and are trying to stay warm! I'm sure it'll be great at that. It can't really be used for anything else.
I really liked book one, and while book two was bad, it was still readable. This isn't. It's a total waste of time! I can't even... And I don't really feel like spending too much time thinking about this book.
Cary is still amazing, but the rest of the characters are just insane. INSANE! Did you hear me? And I don't need to hear this much about Eva's parents, when it's not relevant to the story! And if that isn't enough reason for you to avoid this book: the sex is the same as in book one and two. The relationship between Eva and Gideon is...how should I put this...fast paced! Phew! Relax, please?
It's come to my attention that there'll be more books in this series - which were supposed to be a series - but I can promise you that I'm done with this series. Completely done!
