I was chatting with a fellow romance-loving friend and was trying to describe (more accurately: figure out myself) why some sex in romances lately just hasn’t worked for me. It’s not the difference between kinky and vanilla; I love some vanilla. It’s not the difference between emotional and physical; both are great in the right context. Finally, I landed on: it’s just not queer enough.

Well, you’re reading m/f, of course it’s not queer, she said. But I went, no, m/f can totally be queer, and had to come up with examples to back my theory up, and now this little book can go on that list because it’s exactly what I was talking about. M/f, but queer as fuck.

Also angst-free, and sex-toy positive (!!), and just exuberant healthy fun all around. I think Erin McLellan and I would be friends.
