It's been a wee while since I read Overflow, so it felt like I was reading/listening for the first time. I'm a fan of Brynne Asher but it was obvious that this was her first story. The character development, descriptions and dialogue were a little bit cookie-cutter, and maybe even 'tried and tested' by other authors.
The narrators do a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life, and they were very easy to listen to. I could tell when the characters changed and both could do a very convincing male and female voice. I would be happy to listen to more stories performed by them, individually or together.
While I really enjoyed Overflow, I know that Brynne Asher has improved 100 fold. I look forward to more of her stories coming to audio in the future.

Loved the characters...
I found this story almost perfect for me. My only niggle was that I thought it was way too descriptive in the first quarter of the book. The home renovations and decorations were described a little too thoroughly.
Loved all the characters and Gabby's extended family were so loving and supportive. A great connection between Jude and Gabby that didn't feel forced or OTT. Lots of sexy times with a hot and bossy Jude knowing what he wants and Gabby learning to trust in the feelings that were developing between them.
Lots of action that kept me interested, but I did think there were a few too many dramas come up in such a short time.
Really enjoyed this book and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
