More than 1000 words are introduced by labeled pictures grouped topically under clothes, home, food, playtime, the country, colors, and other familiar things and places.
My son (3) loves these DK board books and this is one of his favorites. He loves to be able to show people what things are and I love how my daughter (6) can almost read some of the words. Often they get other words that they wouldn't experience, such as sofa instead of couch or pajamas instead of pjs. It is always educational and often entertaining. Ours is practically falling apart, it has gotten so much love.
