This was a pretty good memoir/graphic novel by Noelle Stevenson, author of ‘Nimona’. It was a very different kind of memoir, highlighting a nine-year formative time in her life. It was a refreshing approach and I appreciated the way that the author didn’t shy away from some of the more difficult situations she faced during those years. I should probably check out more of her work now.
