What can I say but wow? A fun and sexy read all wrapped in to one. As soon as I turned the first page I was engrossed in the characters. Fox managed to give us a full cast yet never once compromising on any of their personal traits. Petra is my favorite kind of heroine. She’s an independent, take no prisoners a main character that knows what needs to be done and does it regardless of the personal sacrifices. As for Galen… oh Galen… what woman would be crazy enough to turn you down? And if she does, would you like my address and phone number?

Galen is Petra’s perfect counterpart, tall, sexy, and dangerous and he truly loves her. He is the one person she can always count on when she needs someone in her corner. Will he be there for her when she is called upon again to save the world?

At a time when the gods control everything, Petra, a human doctor works in a war zone trying to help the war efforts the best she can. She, along with hundreds of others, was taken from her home and dragged into this war between the gods. But Petra has a secret. She is the one the Oracles foretold of, the doctor who can see the dead. Along with Galen’s help she must put an end to the war between the gods, even if it means she forfeits her own life.

Through all this, Petra finds herself trapped with deciding between the only two men she has ever loved, each professing their love to her. Does she choose her first love, Marc, thought to be lost to her forever, or will she choose the demi-god who left her behind.
