Great book with real characters

I needed a break from my homework and went looking for a book. The title caught my eye, and I decided to download it. I am very glad I did! The characters are like people you know, and there is a good variety of them to keep things interesting. The writing is well paced and pulls you along quickly, which is good, because I really did need to get back to my homework (but couldn't until I found out how it ended). I'll be honest, I downloaded it partly because it was free. But I looking forward to the sequel, and will get it even though it isn't free ;) (hopefully I have the will power to not stay reading it until my homework is done).
