Oh My Lordy…that was SPECTACULAR!!

Tomorrow, I’m starting a sugar-free lifestyle. A couple of hours ago, I thought this was going to be the toughest thing I’d ever faced. Boy, I feel like an absolute TWIT!! Listening to Making Faces really put my trivial little drama into perspective. I’m living, loving and leading the best life I could possibly lead. I have a loving family, good health and a job I enjoy. I’m not in a wheelchair. I have not lost loved ones due to war. I have never felt ugly. There is a lot I need to be thankful for and every tear that I shed listening to this story will be a reminder to make the best of all the good in my life.

A lot of people raved about Making Faces and silly old me nodded my head and thought that maybe it was all hype. HECK NO!! This is by far one of the BEST BOOKS I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED!! Bloody Hell!! Between Amy Harmon’s writing and Rob Shapiro’s narrating, it was one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had in my romance reading life. AND, there wasn’t even a sex scene. 😉

Making Faces isn’t just a hero and heroine meeting and falling in love. This is about familial love, dedicated friends making pacts and making decisions that end up ruining your life. I cried, lordy, how I cried, listening to this amazing story. My family was again faced with an emotional wreck who insisted on telling them why her story was so bloody brilliant. I’m convinced that my 15-year-old son should listen and experience the goodness. Every bloody 15-year-old should experience the beauty of Making Faces. Maybe, they will come to appreciate their good fortune and acknowledge that they have it pretty damn good.

I’m going to give up on reviewing this masterpiece. I’m still shaking, my eyes are puffy from crying and I know that I’m jibber jabbering about everything.

All I can say is, THANK YOU, Amy Harmon and Rob Shapiro. Amy, your words were magic and I’m grateful that I got to experience them. Rob, WOW!! You are a master. One of the best audio’s I’ve ever listened to.

Making Faces if you haven’t experienced it yet…DO IT!!
