If Fish and Chips was a paperback book, my copy would be dog-eared and falling apart from all the times I've read it. Author Erynn Mangum has a dry, sarcastic, humorous way of writing that causes me to giggle my way through this book. Every single time. While I have read and enjoyed every book she has written, this remains my favorite.

This story could be subtitled "The case of the dying goldfish". Raina can't seem to keep her goldfish alive which leads to her meeting the manager of the pet store, Chip. Her openness and honesty and dry wit attract him.

There isn't a huge amount of drama in this story, it is a sweet, funny romantic tale that is just perfect and leaves me feeling satisfied. Every single time.
