I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Royally Abandoned by Sarah Fischer and Kelsey McKnight is a fabulous royally written book by these two amazing authors. They brought the sense of Christmas, being a royal, and having dreams that come to life.

Will Greyson take the throne or give it to his brother?

Greyson Montgomery

Prince Greyson Montgomery wants to live a regular life since he knows that he can't build things when he's king. Instead, he wants his baby brother to take the crown, and he can live a normal life among ordinary people. Greyson was doing fine until he had to come home for Christmas and brought Scarlett with him. He thought that he was doing the right thing for his country until Greyson started to really think about it while home for the holidays. Greyson is a great character. Sure he has his flaws, but what type of person would he be without flaws.

Scarlett Calhoun

Scarlett Calhoun is a Southern Belle through and through. She is a debutante, runner up for Miss Georgia, works in a lot of charities, and still has dreams of her own that she knows wouldn't make her mama happy. There are two sides of Scarlett, the one out in public doing things for her mama (meaning the Southern Belle), and the one that would be happy in jeans and a tee-shirt with her hair up fixing up an old house for a bed and breakfast. Scarlett is very much the hopeless romantic in that she always thinks way too ahead in relationships that are just starting, and she can get her heartbroken fast that way. She loves Greyson and would do anything for him to see how much she does.

Five Stars for Royally Abandoned

Ms. Fischer and Ms. McKnight both did a fabulous job with this book. Weaving two very different people into a fantastically great story. I felt for Greyson and Scarlett during different parts, and I enjoyed reading their story. Scarlett and Greyson are amazing characters, which makes me love them a lot. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers out there.
