Are you a land of stories fan? I sure am i read the land of stories series with my son and we devoured them. Even though i am way beyond the age that this series is recommend for i throughly enjoy it. Chris Colfer for me is ranked right along side my love for Harry Potter. Each story and series is enthralling, adventurous and keeps me throughly entertained to the last page.
This series is set as in the same universe as land of stories but you don't need to read them first to enjoy them. Though you might have a bit more of a thrill if you do as you feel like you have the inside secrets that someone who not familiar with the series dosen't have.
I loved Brystal she reminds me a lot of myself wanting to devour books and her job at the library cleaning sign me up. Though i not sure how much cleaning I would do in a library. The other characters are all just as enjoyable and sure everyone who picks up this book will find one to identify with. The plot twist at the end i sort of guessed ahead of time but not all of it so i was still pleasantly impressed with it. This is a page turner and I implore you to (if not for yourself for that book loving kid your life) pick this one up.
