This volume was much needed after the last one! The last volume wasn’t awful, but it was not on the same level as the main stories, and I desperately needed to get back into the meat of the story.

The cliffhanger of Vol. 2 was a killer one and it’s so good to jump back in and see how everything is going to play out. This one is incredibly insane. We get a new god, Persephone, and she looks absolutely amazing. I adore her entire look, and the somewhat callus look at the immortality she has been given. Her powers are incredible and somewhat creepy at the same time, and I love that she doesn’t hold back. There are some insane scenes in this one and a ton of action as well as the normal exposition which reveal a few odd tidbits that open up some rather large questions that I’m looking forward to seeing the answer of.

It’s so hard to write these reviews without revealing anything, but holy crap guys…it’s insane. While these volumes haven’t quite matched my love of the first book, they are still quite fun to read and they have a story that begs to be read. Plus after the rather shocking ending, I think I almost HAVE to read it.
