What a gorgeous book!
I've been waiting for this to come out for a long time; I've been following Katie O'Neill's art on various social media and have always loved her art. The adorable tea dragons is a concept I've loved since I first saw it on Katie O'Neill's tumblr (especially since I'm obsessed with tea).

The Tea Dragon Society is a very charming book for ... basically everyone about a part-goblin girl, Greta, daughter of a blacksmith, who meets the remnants of an old society who loves an old tea-making art. The art of tea-dragon tea (the dragons grow the tea leaves on their horns). It's much like Greta's blacksmithing, an art that's kind of out of style in today's busy world, and many people don't have the time to make something that takes so long to make.

Greta falls in love with the art, and the people too, and joins the Society, making it official once more (a dragon for each person).

The art is stunning, and the storytelling much like good tea or cocoa -- something that just warms you up on the inside and leaves you feeling comforted and happy. To be honest, the creativity and world building feels a bit "dungeons&dragons-y", but I love that anyway, so I'm not going to complain!

It's a short read, but it can definitely be savored and read again and again. Speaking of, I need to add this book to my collection.
