Elizabeth Martin is chasing her brother across the world. She finds herself in a Czech village with a Dhampir called Josef Darecky who is hunting a vampire family who are also hunting him. She's quite worried for her twin brother, and she can sense that he's in trouble. She first takes a dislike to Josef but later finds herself conflicted about him.

It's pretty much a predictable fang-banger romance, the adventure part of the story was pretty well written.
