I found [a:Jerry Pinkney|70868|Jerry Pinkney|http://www.goodreads.com/images/nophoto/nophoto-M-50x66.jpg] when I read [b:The Lion & the Mouse|6534132|The Lion & the Mouse|Jerry Pinkney|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1259865825s/6534132.jpg|6726263]. The artistic journey was new to me and thoroughly exciting and I easily put him on my wish list for future releases. When I discovered that he had taken a common and favorite of mine nursery rhyme lullaby and put it to the page I was intrigued and could not wait to see what it presented. I was not disappointed and highly recommend this as anyone's bedtime book. Through this book I learned more verses of this classic lullaby and was enchanted by each page. As a child I remember being prone on my belly just staring at the pages of books for years. I just know that this one will be a favorite in that pile for my girls without a doubt.
