Book 1 had a really really slow start!
But once Lucien was introduced - there was no stopping this series. I am HOOKED!

The fighting is really really really good!!! The scenes flow really well - I feel like I am there and I have no issues picturing what is happening.

Lucien is a BAD ASS Alpha and I LOVE HIM haha. His Council is also not bad! And a very interesting mix.

I do like Amelia, but I also do hate her. She's 27 years old - so I am really struggling to connect with her acting like a ...well brat at times and also very much like she's 17 - not 27.
Now I do know a lot can be because of her very sheltered upbringing etc - but I just can't help feel that her behaviour is taken a bit too far.
So I do have some pet peeves here in some of her actions and beliefs.

But I did like the book - I'm currently reading book 3! 3
