Finding interest grabbers for little readers is so important. Manny's Big Adventure and another reader, Best Friends both from Ice Age: Continental Drift. My husband rented an Ice Age movie about the same time as we were reading these books together with my preschooler and I was shocked at first because it was a different movie from the books, but it was still of an interest. I love the idea of these books and the only problem with this one specifically is that the images are so close they are hard to see much but I suppose when you're working with a film images are limited in choice.
