OH GOD. This book was SO GOOD. So, sure, Misguided Angel baffled the living daylights out of me, but now that I've read Bloody Valentine, and now that I've read Lost In Time, I realise just how much I LOVED this series back when I first started reading it, because there's just SO MUCH AWESOME occurring. Lost In Time takes what was so good about Bloody Valentine, and makes it a hundred times better. The three different perspectives were ridiculously gripping. I legit started the book and then didn't put it down until I finished it. I thought it would be another filler novel before the big finale, but it's not and it's actually set up the finale so well. There is so much at stake, so much going on and that ending with Jack and Mimi - my mind is blown!

I am sorely tempted to dive in to Gates of Paradise right now, and not stop reading until I come to the end, which means I'll likely be up very late. I am so excited to see how it all ends, and see what goes down, after all the scene setting Lost In Time did. It was paced perfectly, it was just building and building and building until it left you pretty much gasping for me, and gasping I am.

It brought back everything I loved about the first four books (and it made me want to devour them all over again, ha). I love Schuyler, Jack, Mimi (yes, Mimi is really growing on me!), Oliver, the Blue Bloods series genuinely has one of the best casts, and it was so good to read more from Allegra's story because boy, does she have a tale to tell. And I fear it's about to get juicier!

I can't wait to get to the end of this series, and I fear I'm going to be so sad when it's over but also I feel like it's just going to be so satisfying, there is nothing better for a bookworm than to know a series is going to end so well, and I just have this feeling the Blue Bloods series will be one of the best book finales I've ever read, up there with Mockingjay (although FWIW, I still haven't forgiven Suzanne for what she did, and everyone reading this KNOWS WHAT I MEAN). Here's hoping Melissa is not as cruel to her characters, but I'm about to find out...
