A very dark, cringe-worthy, gruesome yet raw and honest story.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book from the author and the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest book review.

Facing the Beast is a story made for people who are struggling their way to find the purpose and beauty of life, and how to find the light in the darkness.

It starts with the narrator feeling despair because her mother had led their life to a bottomless pit. The moment she laughs, she pours her heart out because she knows it only happens once in a blue moon. Her dark childhood prevented her to experience happiness, love, and appreciation. It scarred her for life and is having difficulties moving on.
