It feels like Steve just can’t catch a break lately. Sure, he’s managed to maintain a lot of his allies, which is more than the average person would have been able to do in his shoes. But it doesn’t change the fact that he seems to keep coming up against these walls.
There is definitely a lot of the ‘old times’ coming up again to haunt the Captain, but oddly enough, I think its perfect timing. He’s trying so desperately to go back to his roots, so it only makes sense that he’s coming up against some of these foes again. Or at least, it makes total sense to me.
