It feels like there was a lot of buildup in this issue. A lot happened, but there are still a lot of pieces that need to be connected before it all makes sense. At least, that’s how it felt to me. There are really two different strains of events happening here. It’s clear they’re connected, we can even guess how…but I’m looking forward to the villainous monologue that will connect all the dots for me. The artwork for this issue was lovely. Selina looked fantastic, of course. The real highlight, oddly enough, was the antagonist in this issue. It felt like the quality of her skin bounced around based on how angry she was. That or it was very clever shading. I’m not quite sure which.
