Stuck-Up Suit

New York Times Bestseller
USA Today

From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days—until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn’t expect him to text back.

I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn’t expect to fall for him—all before we even met.

The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

Once again, Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have created a story and characters that made this book virtually impossible to put down.

Soraya eyes the oh so handsome Graham Morgan on the morning train. While he was easy on the eyes, his attitude was something quite different. And when Soraya finds Mr. Bad Attitudes cell phone and tries to return it to him....sparks fly.

Graham was a lovable man, despite being bossy and somewhat self-absorbed. He's purposefully built a wall around himself, only portraying his cutthroat businessman persona to protect himself. After the death of his mother and a cheating fiance, he didn't want to lose any more people he cared about. Soraya not putting up with his BS helped Graham take himself a little less seriously. To remember that even though he doesn't let his feelings show, others have them.

Soraya, despite being so good for Graham, had her own issues with commitment. Fearful that she was going to repeat the mistakes of her parents, she was determined to stick to casual relationships. Graham changed all that, despite Soraya trying to prove to herself that she wasn't in a relationship. She understood she was more than her parents mistakes and that she could be so much more.

I loved these two characters. Their chemistry was HAWT and their banter could make you cringe one second and laugh the next. I loathed having to put this book down because I had to know what was going to happen next. This book was an absolute pleasure to read. It had everything that I want in a romance book: relatable characters, off the charts chemistry, witty banter, smexy goodness and a storyline that had me hooked. Anything by this duo is a must read.
