End Game brought a lot of pain to some of the characters, with the aftermath of the incredible cliffhanger in Bad Deeds...

I loved the character growth in End Game, the depth this brought to various relationships, and the tension that was so thick it could be cut with a butcher knife. The suspense was breath-taking, and I had trouble sitting still while reading. The emotional pain the characters felt was tangible, and I had no idea how they would get through the incredibly difficult time they were facing.

End Game took care of many loose ends, but not all. And there might be a story about one of the side characters from Dirty Money in the future. I, for one, cannot wait to read that. Shane was the character who surprised me the most with his growth in this installment, I almost didn't think he had it in him!

I will not say much more, for fear of spoiling End Game for you - and please know that this novel cannot be read as a stand alone. It relies on the story of all the prior books in the series, and I think you'd be quite lost if you started with this one.
