Melt for Him was super sexy! This time we're witnessing the blossoming romance between Jamie's friend, Megan, and Smith's coworker, Becker. She's just in town to take the photographs for the upcoming firemen calendar, and then she's moving on to Portland. He's not looking for a relationship, because his head is still suck in Chicago where two of his coworkers died in a fire they were putting out. But once the two meet, they immediately hit off. She makes him laugh, he makes her open up, and soon their physical chemistry develops into much more.

I was a bit nervous about Melt for Him in the beginning. It would have been easy for this one to fall into two predictable and annoying tropes. After Megan's father died on the job, she swore she'd never give her heart to a firefighter. It would have been completely predictable if once they were together, Becker gets severely injured in a fire. Luckily, that does not happen! His job does create some tension for them, but I'm glad the plot didn't go that route. But what I was more afraid of was that this would turn into a "I'm giving up all my hopes and dreams to be with you" story! I cannot stand those! Thankfully, something happens at the end that kept this from happening, although I kind of wished they would have stuck with Becker's compromise, because that never, ever happens! Go, Becker!

Melt for Him was really good. It's much sexier than the first book, since it doesn't have the sweetness to balance it out, but that's just fine with me! Megan and Becker were great together, in bed and out of it! I also really liked the sneak peak into shooting the calendar, and Megan's art work. Her drawings sounded super cute, and added some humor to the story.
