This is my first Emma Scott book, and I will definitely be reading more. These two broke my heart over and over again. Their backstories and the pain they carried around with them permeated the story. I was beyond elated when they were able to lose themselves in each other and eventually help each other heal. There were a bunch of real heartstrings moments, and I LOVED them! And Scott knows the way to my heart.
She gave me a wonderful epilogue, which was sweet and lovely and made me beyond happy.
