You know..there are some books that leave a permanent mark on you. Such a mark, that when you have finished the book there is such a yearning in your bones and chest you have never felt. You feel like a piece is missing and you just simply MUST know more..what happened next? I have now read many of [a:Nora Ash|8118312|Nora Ash|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1542703768p2/8118312.jpg] 's fantastic books, but this one holds a special place in my heart.
Olivia with her pure strength of character, such a survivor and strong woman, was a wonderful heroine to get to know. Alaric was painful and left me with such an ache, his fears...his absolute loyalty... I cried for him. And our Viking himself...our warrior and vampire King of Chicago...Warin.
Their story is so captivating, beautiful, but also full of suspense, POWER, witches, giants?!, shifters?!..oh my.
The erotica is steamy, the killing is gory - all in all an absolutely fantastic book, I could not put it down.
It compelled me to keep reading....and I simply could not resist.
