I adore Nightcrawler. I’m pretty sure I started off my review of the last issue that way as well. Oh well. He’s charming and adorable and it’s great to see him get his own series again, even if it is a miniseries. Having Seanan McGuire write the series is just icing on the cake at this point.
I love that they’re pushing Nightcrawler into this predicament where he honestly doesn’t know what the right thing to do is. I know what story they’ve been trying to tell us with the Age of X-Man spinoffs, but honestly I think the Nightcrawler series has been giving us the best example.
I’m actually beginning to be a little bit sad that the series is only going to be five issues long. Then again, I’m also super curious to see how it gets resolved, so I can’t complain too much, since I’ll only have to wait a couple more issues to find out.
