So. I watched Avatar for the first time last year... This is gay avatar on steroids.

I personally couldn't get into the "romance" aspect of the story. I just don't get hype and fascination behind sexy aliens? Why are y'all so obssessed with them? I don't get it.
Also this book trying to be D/s from what I gathered, but it's so weird when both parties can't communicate in the same language and don't have same concepts. I don't understand.

Maybe next books in the series resolve these problems, but I won't continue with the series.
