Playing Dirty by Tiffany Snow

Playing Dirty (Risky Business, #2)

by Tiffany Snow

DOWN AND DIRTY

Faced with a choice between bad-boy detective Dean Ryker and sexy power player Parker Anderson, Sage Reese fought the law - and the law won. But while Ryker's sizzling touch may rule her nights, Sage's days belong to Parker's cool, calculating intensity . . .

Both Ryker and Parker are determined to protect Sage from a brutal enemy who'd use her to pay for their mistakes. Yet when the usually single-minded Ryker is distracted by ghosts from his past, Parker seizes his opportunity to get Sage's attention - and keep it in ways beyond her wildest dreams.

Now, caught between a mobster out for revenge and two men who were once best friends, Sage must play to win - even if it means getting dirty. . . .

The first book in Tiffany Snow’s Risky Business series is on the edge of your seat romance filled with a lot of suspense. Playing Dirty kicks that up about 10 notches! I loved this book even more then the first one and I didn’t think that was possible!

Playing Dirty takes place 4 months from the end of Power Play and everything seems fine. Sage is still working for Parker who is no longer making Sage work crazy hours. Sage and Ryker seem to be doing great – spending time together meeting each others friends and family. As you can image as it is with any Tiffany Snow novel this doesn’t last for very long. There are a lot of twists and turns that take our 3 characters who each thought the threats were done they find out they are not and before long their lives are in danger again.

One of the things I loved about this book is you get a little more information on the characters histories and back stories, which I won’t give away and that I found extremely interesting and enlightening. What as a reader I thought I understood from the first book does a 180 in this one which I loved! The other thing I enjoyed was the humor throughout the book especially from Sage, the story is told in her POV and her pop references and commentary made me laugh out loud throughout the book. We also find out that Parker has a sense of humor which was fun as well. There is the danger that Tiffany Snow is know for along with the romance that makes this book fun and suspenseful even more so than the first one.

If you enjoyed the first book you will love this one and I can’t wait for the last book to see how this ends.
