Jared King is a unique man. He lives by his own rules and is unwilling to break them for anyone. He plays hard at Club Tabu with the submissives. His life has caused a lot of problems with his family but he is unwilling to change anything. They are embarrassed by his lifestyle choices. However, you have to admire Jared in the fact that he is unwilling to bow down to his family wishes. He fights for what he wants. He is also head over heels in love with Bailey a childhood friend who keeps saying she despises him. Jared is a hot and sexy man with a big heart.

Bailey Melchor is a boutique owner funded by her father and given three years to make it profitable or he will close it up. Her father comes across as a slime ball and its hard to see why Bailey looks up to him. I understand why she wants to make it on her own and its apparent that her father does not think she will make it. Bailey spends a lot of time denying her feelings for Jared and when she wants to face her feelings her father throws a wrench into her plans.

The chemistry between Bailey and Jared is blistering. The sex scenes are hot and steamy. I loved that the relationship between Bailey and Jared was not an easy journey. Communication and honesty is a big part of this book.

Master King is the third book in the Masters of Tabu series by Gray Dixon. This book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel with out any problems. This book is well written. The main and secondary characters were an equal combination of interesting and frustrating. Overall, this was a great book. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series.
